Gatlinburg Midnight 4th of July Parade
The Gatlinburg 4th of July parade is the first 4th of July parade in the nation stepping of at one minute past midnight. This is the first time Smoky Mountain Submarine Veterans marched in this parade.

Haddo Smoky Mountain Picnic
USS Haddo base and the Smoky Mountain Submarine veterans have participated in a joint picnic since 2012 with a horse shoe tournament . This year Smoky Mountain base brought home the trophies this year.

Holland Club 2017
The HOLLAND CLUB is named after John P. Holland, designer of the first U.S. Navy submarine. It is an exclusive group within the US Submarine Veterans organization consisting of men who qualified in submarines over 50 years ago.

Tolling of the Boats 2019
This was the 13th year that the Smoky Mountain Submarine Veterans performed the Tolling of the Boats ceremony at the Secret City Festival and the first at the new location of the Peace Bell in Bissell park.

This is the 14th year that we have performed the Tolling of the Boats in Bissell Park Oak Ridge TN normally it is during the Secret City Festival but due to the virus it was cancelled this year.
